There’s already been talk about this on Twitter and numerous other places about this event, what I can now confirm in this update is that SEGA Media will be appearing live at the upcoming London Gaming Convention which is being held at The Rocket Complex on the 3rd & 4th of December 2011. This is the conventions first year but it is already shaping up to be one heck of an event for gamers across the UK.
Why should you go? Well there’s no other way of describing it, there’s a Goliath number of games on offer to play (If you can get a go that is!). Not only can you play these games but there will be a variety of tournaments on offer (and there are some awesome prizes on offer too I might add….). There’s also a number of other activities going on including, yes… Cosplay!
But for us SEGA fans there’s a SUPER SONIC SUNDAY event on the Sunday which of course is the day we’ll be there! So not only can you come and meet and greet us folks from SEGA Media but our fellow comrades who run all the behind the scenes type work at the Summer of Sonic conventions will be offering a helping hand in certain areas. You can expect to see the likes of The Sonic Stadium, Sonic Wrecks & Radio SEGA who will be celebrating 20 years of Sonic the Hedgehog (again!) with Sonic Generations-type stuff happening there no doubt.
Okay, what is SEGA Media going to be doing there? Well we will be doing our usual tricks by DJ-ing the music in one area of the convention. Whilst we are SEGA-orientated (and boy will we be mixing some greats together) but as it is a video games convention as a whole we will be mixing a whole variety of video game music including the likes of Sonic, Halo, Mario, Tekken all the way through to Atari Arcade greats and beyond. We will also have some visuals going on too so keep an eye out for that around the DJ Booth!
So if you fancy going, the convention is fast approaching with now less than 3 weeks to go at the time of writing until the weekend of the 3rd & 4th of December! You can pay on the day, but if you register beforehand there are some sweet discounts. - Sonic 2 MD Speed-Run Contest (All day)
- Possible Sonic-Screenings (Fingers crossed!)

Oooo that sounds like it’s gonna be one hell of a great time that weekend! Just saw the schedule and I gotta say, E3 should’ve been like this ^^ Have an awesomesauce of a great time FastFeet & the rest of the SEGAMedia crew! Hopefully there will be highlights of it SEGA wise on the site here!
