Celebrations and Updates…

It’s been a somewhat hectic week this week here at SEGA Media, for many reasons. But I feel it’s about time I made another entry into our blogosphere of SEGA Media. Not only to round up the weeks events but also as a catchup with all the things that have been going on around the site recently and some things just around the corner!

Calling all Podcasters!
Whilst things have been a little quiet here on the website itself, we’ve been busy working behind the scenes to create some great upcoming areas of the website. The Podcasts section of the website is an area showcasing the latest and greatest of the SEGA and Sonic the Hedgehog communities podcasts, instead of just showing off our own. So far you can find podcasts from Radio SEGA amongst the ranks with more to follow soon. In short SEGA Media is the best place on the web to get your SEGA podcasts – easy to find, with episode information and above it’s specific to SEGA!

So whilst some of you are catching up with the Communities voices, some of you ARE THE VOICE. If you currently run a SEGA/Sonic themed podcast or radio show then we want to hear from you no matter who you are! Just a few of the benefits of adding our Podcast to SEGA Media include:

Where’s the media?!?
Okay I’ve heard this question a lot recently, we did come across a problem when adding in music and videos to our new depository. Thankfully we’ve worked out a way past it but it does mean a lot of renaming files so we will be adding tons of media over the next month. We’ve also been working on sourcing video regularly so the videos channel will update more frequently, check out the SEGA Media YouTube to view our latest videos before they go live on SEGA Media. In short we’re on it stay tuned to the site between now and dare I say it – Christmas!

The cake and plushie is a lie?!
Some of you who have been following our Twitter feed may have noticed that I mentioned something about a FastFeet (instead of a Sonic) plushie and a Sonic cake. Made in celebration of my birthday (Many thanks to all the shout outs throughout the week ~ you know who you are!) some of you guys were amazed, some just plain didn’t believe me so here are some pics to prove that they do indeed exist (well the cake doesn’t anymore but that’s another story).
